Andreas Pfannenberg was honored as the “Family Entrepreneur of the Year for 2015” by the “Family Business Association of Hamburg, Germany” where Pfannenberg's Headquarters are located. Pfannenberg as a company was recognized as “a model for successful medium sized companies”.

This acknowledgment not only recognizes the company’s leadership in the thermal management market but also its high level of innovation that drives the company's success worldwide.

Of the categories Workforce Training, Sustainability, Safety, Innovation, Exporting, Community Involvement and Overall Excellence, Pfannenberg along with General Motors and Keller Technology Corp. was recognized in the category of Overall Excellence as a company that has had a major economic impact on our region.

On Friday November 4th 2011, in cooperation with the Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Country Executive Chris Collins visited Pfannenberg for a tour of the facility.

Collins cited Pfannenberg as a shining example of a business that is growing and creating jobs within the Western New York area. "Pfannenberg could be the poster child for positive growth here in Erie County," Collins said. "It's private-sector jobs that are pushing us forward in Erie County."

Once again, Pfannenberg Incorporated has been listed by Buffalo's Business First as one of Buffalo's 50 fastest growing companies!

The company posted annual sales of $12.8 million worldwide for the past year, and grew almost 14%.

Pfannenberg Inc. is teaming up again with Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center as a sponsor for this year's Buffalo Brewfest. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 5th from 5:30pm - 9:30pm and will again be held at the HSBC Arena. 

This year's Buffalo BrewFest will feature more than 100 special craft brews from around the world.  Brewers will be set up across the two floors of the HSBC Arena atrium and outside in the Arena courtyard.   Food will be available from a menu specially prepared for the event featuring beer-inspired items.  Buffalo's own, Black Widow Band, will provide music.

Pfannenberg employees recently participated in United Way of Buffalo & Erie County's 1^st Annual Family Volunteer Day, Saturday, May 1^st. 

Alongside profiles of industry leaders such as John Olesen, Chief Specialist, Vestas and James Dehlsen, Co-founder, Clipper Windpower Inc., Pfannenberg was recognized in the April Issue of Windpower Engineering as a 2010 Leader in Wind Energy. 

In lieu of Christmas gifts to clients in 2009, Pfannenberg made a donation of 10,000 € to the Löwenhaus Centre for children.

Owner Andreas Pfannenberg and other members of the staff visited the Löwenhaus Centre in Hamburg, Germany, on December 16th and helped the children to make Christmas star decorations, candles, and small gifts for their families.

No doubt adding to the company's recent growth are the current release of a new product catalog, the development and release of a new thermal management sizing software application, newly-designed top-mounted cooling units with a patented condensate management system, and six new DTS 3000 Series cooling units  with Btu/hr ranges from 5 - 7,000 and 9 - 12,000, available as indoor, outdoor or stainless steel / washdown models, all in a variety of voltages.
